Yves Rocher

Yves Rocher

A simple ointment made from plants in the attic of the family house: that was the beginning of the story of Yves Rocher, the female beauty care specialist. Forty years later the family business has become an international Group with a presence on the 5 continents, in 88 countries.

Each one of our brands is backed up by real, personalised relationships that have enabled us to affirm what makes us stand out and not lose sight of what we are here for: to improve the wellbeing of women everywhere.

That has always been the condition for our success. And we also owe it to the determination and commitment of all of our staff: whether you are junior or experienced, the constant development of our products and brands offers you numerous opportunities to achieve professional fulfilment, wherever in the world.

Yves Rocher

That is the mission of our three major distribution networks: distance selling, store sales and direct sales.

With Yves Rocher, Daniel Jouvance, Dr. Pierre Ricaud, Isabel Derroisné, Kiotis and Galerie Noémie, the Yves Rocher Group is continuing its conquest of new territory in the beauty industry. Also present in the domestic cleaning and home beauty industry with Stanhome and in the textiles industry with Françoise Saget and Petit Bateau, the Yves Rocher Group is constantly improving the daily life of women everywhere.

Today more than 40 million women worldwide are counting on your desire to improve their wellbeing!

In times of economic and social uncertainty, with slowing consumption and unfavourable exchange rates, the Yves Rocher Group again managed to hold its position in most of its markets in 2004. The Group achieved a turnover of $ 2.012 billion euros, up 0.6% over the previous year at current exchange rates and 1.8% at constant exchange rates.

With 15,000 employees and more than 230,000 indirect jobs, the Group has a presence on all five continents via three major retail channels, Direct Sales, Mail Order and Yves Rocher Beauty Centres, and a newer channel, On-line Sales, which is making rapid progress.

With Yves Rocher, Daniel Jouvance, Dr Pierre Ricaud, Isabel Derroisné, Kiotis and Galérie Noémie, the Yves Rocher Group is continuing to win new territory in the beauty world.

With a presence in the home care sector with Stanhome and in the textile sector with Françoise Saget and Petit Bateau, the Yves Rocher Group provides women further opportunities to bring beauty and well-being into their world.

Today, more than 40 million women worldwide place their trust in the Group's brands, recognizing their own values in those of the Yves Rocher Group.
Nature is the source of beauty. Yves Rocher was already convinced of this over 40 years ago, when he created the brand that bears his name. That event changed everything: it marked the beginning of natural, accessible beauty – beauty for every woman.

A simple cream, based on the Lesser Celandine plant and produced in the family attic: this was the start of the Yves Rocher adventure, dedicated to women’s beauty.
Today, thanks to advances in plant biology, the Yves Rocher product line contains over 150 active plant ingredients.

Yves Rocher
Yves Rocher was born in La Gacilly in Brittany, France.
In 1958, the village was losing its population as people moved to the towns.
Driven by the idea of creating jobs to revitalize the region, Yves Rocher decided to start a company focusing on nature and feminine beauty.
That decision was the spark that reversed the tide.
Today, La Gacilly is a lively town that successfully combines a thriving modern economy with a respect for the environment.

Organic harvesting, production, distribution, logistics – all the stages necessary for the development and distribution of the company’s products are represented in La Gacilly, where 4,000 men and women work to promote the development of the Yves Rocher group
