The Goldsmiths Story

The Goldsmiths Group is the largest quality jeweller in the UK, with stores in every major town and city from Aberdeen to Torquay, and five in Northern Ireland. By the end of 2005, there will be over 170 showrooms in the country, each offering the high street's finest selection of premier and designer watch brands, and gold and diamond jewellery.
226 years ago, we opened our first store in Newcastle, and it's still trading successfully to this day on the very same site. Since then there have been many notable achievements, from making the FA Cup and Rugby League Trophy, to being awarded three Royal Warrants. Ours is a business with over 200 years of tradition and experience.
Back in 1919, Goldsmiths was also proud to be named as the UK's first appointed stockist of Rolex watches. Today, we have the largest distribution network for Rolex, Cartier, Omega, Gucci and many other reputable watch brands.
